American Crow Vocalizations: The Knock Knock Call

Junior was sitting on the fence outside my window when she started making her pretty requests. While the sound recording isn't optimal (recorded during rainfall in the city and there is a lot of white noise), if you listen carefully, you can hear how the pitch drops down about a half an octave at the end of each bonk/knock sequence. The vocalization comes in a sequence of two repetitions, followed by a click. I've heard Bo, her older brother, make just the click sound sometimes when he's about to take food from me.
