This hero experienced time travel at numerous points during “Avengers: Endgame,” and we saw him co-existing less than peacefully with his past self at the Battle of New York. So were there multiple versions of Captain America existing simultaneously on the MCU timeline? Some fans seem to think so, and even the writers confirmed that’s what they were going for. Even if he stayed in the background while his crime fighting friends saved the day again and again, we’ve still seen evidence of his existence thanks to Peggy Carter. Was Steve Rogers the mysterious husband we learned about in “The Winter Soldier?” We’ll go over the evidence supporting this theory and how this hero could have lived knowing what was going to happen with the Mad Titan Thanos in the future.
