Marcus King blistering Hendrix cover “Red House” with Eric Krasno @Toulouse Theatre NOLA

Eric Krasno and an all-star band were assembled for a one time show of “Jimi’s Dead” - a Hendrix & Grateful Dead mashup. The show was part of L4LM New Orleans Jazzfest late night concerts, this one at the amazing Toulouse theatre in the French Quarter. The set was nearly over when Marcus King surprised the audience (and maybe the band too) to join the last song of the set. To everyone’s surprise, Marcus came back with the band for a classic 1966 Hendrix blues tune “Red House”. I was in the front so felt obliged to film the whole thing in 4K. I hope some fans get to see and appreciate this special performance.
