How to combine IF with AND in Excel (IF with multiple criteria)

In this video we're going to combine the IF function with the AND function and check whether multiple conditions are true at the same time and return something if that's the case or something else if at least one condition is false. The IF function is really useful to check whether some cell meets a certain criteria and return different values that we provide based on the evaluated result of that condition. When combining the IF function with the AND function, we can vary the conditions of the cells that we check and obtain a more robust checking mechanism. In this video we use an example of two exams that both should have a grade of at least 6 in order for the class to be passed.
