Easy Madeleine Recipe: 2 ways!!! (Lemon glazed and Vanilla)

Please remember to on captions!!! :) Hope you enjoyed watching this relaxing tutorial on how to make madeleines! Recipe: (Makes 13-14, depending on the size of your pan) For the Madeleines: 2 eggs 65g caster sugar (fine sugar) 1 Tsp vanilla extract 100g all-purpose / plain flour 1 Tsp baking powder 100g unsalted butter For the Lemons Glaze: 80g icing sugar / powdered sugar (sifted) 1/2 lemon zest 4 Tsp lemon juice Methods: 1) Whisk the eggs until frothy (around 1 minute) 2) Add in the sugar and whisk until it becomes more frothy and foaming with bubbles (around 2-3minute) 3) Mix in vanilla 4) Sift in baking powder and flour, then whisk until just combined 5) Fold in 1/2 of the cooled melted butter until just combined 6) Fold in the rest of the melted butter 7) Transfer batter into a piping bag and let the batter rest in the fridge for 1.5 - 2 hours (I let mine rest for around 2 hours as the weather was very warm that day) 8) Preheat oven to 200°C / 390°F 9) Grease your madeleine pan with butter, wiping away excess butter with a clean kitchen towel. Sift flour evenly over the buttered pan, and tap the pan to remove the excess flour 10) Pipe and fill the pan fully with the cold batter 11) Bake the madeleines at 200°C / 390°F for 4 min and 180°C / 355°F for 4-5 min or until edges are golden brown 12) Let the madeleines cool and enjoy~!!
