(Previous) Unfortunate news of the death of author Akira Toriyama spread today as he died on March 1st, 2024. Dragon Ball has been and will continue to be a major part of my life. To this day, it is my favorite series of all time, no matter the highs or lows. I consider this an incredible manga/anime and it is the entire reason I got into art at all. So many of my life decisions atm was at least partially because of Dragon Ball Z. When I think of anime, cool fights, or nice action animation dbz is the first thing to come to mind. Dragon Ball is a franchise that has achieved success and accomplishments very few other animes ever will/have. You got me into anime, you were my childhood. May you Rest in Peace, the GOAT, Akira Toriyama🙏🏿🙏🏿. You will be missed by millions😢
