S&W Model 686 .357 Magnum and S&W Model 17 (617) .22 Cal – A look and shooting demonstration of two classic Smith and Wesson revolvers. I bought these revolvers 23 years ago and they are still going strong. If you ever owned or held one of these guns in your hand you would know the quality that Smith and Wesson puts in their revolvers. Built like tanks, there a bit on the heavy side just like an old Cadillac. I have had absolutely no issues with these guns. The S&W 617 is the current version of the 17-6. The prefix of "6" in front of a S&W Model Number indicates Stainless Steel. Both of these Revolvers feature Hogue Fancy Hardwood Grips.
