The INSANE History Behind the Most MISUNDERSTOOD Stealth Series Getting old is great, actually - it means you can appreciate stealth games after years of "just not getting it, really." I love Thief, I love Dishonored, but with Styx, I started to understand the proper appeal of the genre. I think it's at least worth highlighting. And hey - the industry's still being itself, so why not hop on old games? They're still there!! All of them!! This video essay, or whatever you wanna call it, digs into the history of Cyanide Studio, Spiders, the progenitor to the Styx games in Orcs and Men, and eventually the Styx duology. I'm sure I'll have to change the thumbnail and title to really hit the algo with this one, but I promise the meat's good. Maybe "Styx, Cyanide, and the Western B Game" ... ...
