http://www.pmtonline.co.uk/catalogsea... The Epiphone Sheraton is part of Epiphone's arched top guitar collection and is a semi-acoustic double cut-away model based on the Gibson 335 design. The front face, rear and sides of the instrument are constructed from Laminated Maple, with a Maple neck and Rosewood fret-board that has 22 frets with pearloid block inlays. All hardware is gold plated and includes both of the hum-bucking pick-ups, the bridge and tail piece and the machine heads. The hum-buckers are seated in black plastic surrounds and each magnet is adjustable for height and gain intensity. Each pick up has its own separate volume and tone knob and the 3 way pick-up selector switch sits just above, adjacent to the floating tortoise shell scratch plate that has the Epiphone "E" logo marked on. The fully adjustable bridge has a 6 saddle configuration (one for each string) and is anchored into the body just above the tail piece. On the left and right of the guitar body is a large "F" type acoustic sound hole that leads to the hollow acoustic chambers within, and it is these acoustic chambers that help to give this style of instrument its unique sound. The machine heads are sealed units whilst the body, neck and headstock has cream binding along the edge and the headstock is further adorned with a "Flowering vine" decorative design and Epiphone logo.
