Happy Mother's Day!!! Headline 1 Israel remembers its fallen, victims of terror as Memorial Day begins … At nightfall, Israelis started observing Memorial Day. It is a solemn day where they remember their Fallen Soldiers as well as those who have died as victims of terrorism. Somber ceremonies take place in Israel tonight and throughout tomorrow. Obviously, it is especially meaningful this year. At sundown tomorrow, the mood changes as Independence Day begins, where the people celebrate 76 years as a modern state. Headline 2 Israel's south comes under repeated rocket fire as IDF advances in Gaza Though Israel is remembering and mourning, the fighting never stops. As they push forward in Rafah rockets have been fired from this area toward the advancing army. Headline 3 Blinken: Hamas will remain no matter what Israel does in Rafah US Secretary of State reiterates administration to Israel's crushing of the last 4 Hamas battalions in Rafah, demands plan for 'day after.' Blinken continues to get on our nerves. Of course, there will be people supportive of Hamas who still exist when the major fighting has been done. Also, as we mentioned today, Israel does need a plan for the day after. The problem is that they have nobody to deal with who will accept the fact of their right to exist. Therefore, any idea of a Palestinian state next door to them is beyond problematic. The next two headlines are about Egypt... First, they are intending to join South Africa in their lawsuit against Israel claiming genocide. The Foreign Minister later contradicted an earlier statement that said the peace treaty between the two countries is at risk. What we do know is that the Bible promises that both Israel and Egypt will exist at the time of the end. In our book, 25 Signs We Are Near The End, Sign 2, "As Their Enemies Have Done To Israel, So God Will Do To Them." We noted that Scripture makes predictions for seven different nations as to their future. Both Egypt and Israel will continue to exist until the time of the end. However, Moab, Ammon, Edom, Amalek, and Philistia, will not. Well, we find that the Lord was seven for seven in His predictions. Israel and Egypt exist to this day while the other five have been lost in history, not existing today as a separate people-group. As always, the predictions of the God of the Bible come true.
