I'm called to share this dance as a reminder that we are energy, everything is energy, and we can MOVE energy intentionally! When I dance I incorporate energy work (reiki), and intention/prayer. I also use visualization as a way of guiding the energy. I tune into the divine energies of the universe, flow with them and direct them in the name of healing and the highest good for all beings. It's in these spaces where I often go into trance and have many powerful spiritual experiences and visions that come through and inspire my art work and spiritual growth. Dance is so powerful! A well of infinite awesomeness! It is my go-to for releasing tension and emotion, for healing on many levels, and where the prayers just radiate out of me like a sun. It is the place I go to find myself, to be with myself, and to move my grief, anger and joy. Dance aligns and guides me into states of expansive wholeness and ecstatic joy. While I am also a visionary artist, in the last 10 years dance has become my primary spiritual and creative practice.
