The pressure from McLaren-Mercedes was intense; and there was no doubt that the McLaren MCL39 throughout the race offered the bigger sweet spot to its drivers. Yet, from lights-out to chequered flag, it was Red Bull-Honda's Max Verstappen who controlled the race and the win.
