Take a ride on ALL water slides at Splashdown Poole in England. There are two Splashdown Water Parks in the UK - one in Paignton (Quaywest) and one in Poole, close to Bournemouth. The venue in Poole is considerably larger and features a wider range of water slides. Splashdown Poole's footprint is incredibly small since the park only consists of rides - there are no larger pools or a Lazy River. Yet the park features inside and outside rides. The indoor area is home to the majority of rides, including the Dragon's Lair water slide, the interactive 'Infinity' bowl ride and the Mississippi Drifter inner tube slide. The latter is partially situated outside the building, however, the outside part is closed during winter so one of the body slides is used as a 'bypass', allowing the ride to operate year-round. The outdoor water slide complex features four slides in total, namely The Screamer and Velocity speed slides, as well as two inner tube slides. As of October 2022, an online ticket is required to enter the park. There are no day passes - guests can only choose from a two or three hour session. Every guest, except for spectators, receives a wristband upon entry which needs to be scanned at every water slide prior to riding. Once the session has expired, the traffic lights will no longer turn green when scanning the wristband.
