This is good for making gifs. Open your video. Go tools and preferences. Now show settings to all. Go to video. Filters. Find and select scene filter You can leave image format to be png. Your images will be saved in the pictures folder. If you want to change that add path here. Recording ratio means that if you put value 5 every fifth image will be saved. Put one if you want to export every second. Click save. Now enable this by going filters and tick this scene video filter. Now if you play video you will see that it exports images. Make sure to turn off this by going filters again and untick the scene filter. Thi is important because if you forget it every video will produce images until you run out of hard drive.
