Jerk baits are very well known for their unique ability to force a bass to react. As water temps cool down even more throughout the fall, these fish feed up heavily in order to bulk up for the winter, and this presentation imitates wounded bait fish very well. Especially when the fish school up and they are just annihilating their prey. It is an awesome technique, and you have to give it a shot this fall. These two baits can be fishing in 2 inches of water, and be pushed out to 10 feet or more. You can be very subtle with cadence, or very aggressive in and around cover.
