You need to have partnerships, raise money, hire people, and more. It would be best if you become a networking expert where the author Susan is exceptional. I struggle with networking and get a bit shy during events, and Susan's book has taught me a lot and opened my eyes. ✔️ Fearless by Rebecca Minkoff Learn from Rebecca's incredible story about how launching one t-shirt after 9/11 helped catapult her entire fashion business and brand that she's built. It will help us who feel imposter syndrome relate to how Rebecca built a whole empire from one t-shirt, which inspired me. ✔️ Father Figure: How to be a Feminist Dad by Jordan Shapiro This is an excellent book for any dad to read because we talk a lot on this channel about women supporting women in business. But we need our male allies to train the next generation of girls to be raised as leaders from day one. ✔️ Lifelong Kindergarten by Mitchel Resnick As adults, we lose our creativity somewhere along the way. The book teaches us to approach everything having the unbridled creativity and energy of a five-year-old and bring that with you in your career & your whole life. Indeed, creativity is the number one most important business skill. ✔️ Undaunted by Kara Golden A great read by an amazing woman who built a huge business from her kitchen making flavored water. Her company, Hint Water, is carried in Whole Foods and all around the world. Kara is a fabulous entrepreneur whose story you can get golden wisdom nuggets from. ✔️ Pick Three by Randi Zuckerberg I've written and studied a lot about work-life balance, and sorry, I don't believe it exists. Instead, you will find true happiness and success by allowing yourself to prioritize and be well-lopsided. We need sleep, fitness, work, friends, and family — pick three.
