All Heavyweight machines have been overridden and battled with other machines in this video. The ability to override machines has returned in Horizon Forbidden West, with Aloy now able to override up to 38 different types of machines. There are fantastic monster fights I have ever seen. If it doesn’t you don’t have the Override ability for that enemy type yet. You can actually check in the machine list in the pause menu what machines you can Override. If you click on an entry, in the middle of the screen on the left-hand side it’ll say whether you possess the ability. If it says “unlocked” you’re golden. If it says partial, you need to fully unlock it at the Fabricator at the base. If it says locked, it’ll tell you what Cauldron you need to go to.
