This video is uploaded to solve the problem of a fellow You tube user. He sent mail describing his problem relating to Chain-Inventor Studio (Video Tutorial) Autodesk Inventor 2010. The message is as below:-- i'm currentlt trying to replicate the chain tutorial video you have uploaded and can get so far but come upon problems when placing my first work point. as far as i can tell i have replicated your techniques as best as i can, albeit with different dimensions, but when it comes to placing the work point it seems that Inventor (2011 Student version) certainly recognises the YZ plane but does not even highlight the sketch line as a valid option to be selected so that i may place my point where they intersect. i did manage to place a point by choosing the option of having the point defined by the intersection of 3 planes between the YZ, XZ and my own user defined plane. this placed the point in the desired position but when i tried to make a rectangular pattern from the work point, once again inventor failed to highlight the point as a valid option to be selected.
