Fishing A New Pond: Where To Start

Come along as Tim explores a new pond! Fishing new water is always a gamble but Tim has a simple method of finding fish quickly. Listen closely as he approaches the water and gives tips on the productive parts of any pond, while catching a few fish. When approaching a new body of water Tim likes to start off in search of a giant. After that, he focuses on topwater, then drops down to baits that will contact the bottom. Once on bottom he uses the baits to gain an understanding of the underwater contours. In doing so he's able to gauge the size of the fish in the pond, the overall depth, and where fish are positioned, very quickly.
