Daytona USA 2001 (デイトナUSA2001) is a Dreamcast remake of Daytona USA, developed jointly by Amusement Vision and Genki. The game features updated versions of tracks found in the arcade original and Circuit Edition, along with three brand new courses. Daytona '01 usually gets dumped on for having poor controls when using a gamepad. And it's a claim that's certainly not without merit. While the US version of the game does add an option to adjust sensitivity, this isn't a proper solution. The real problem lies with the analog stick's dead zone -- it's massive. Fortunately, if you play the game on an emulator, you can use a program called XInput Plus to address the issue. Just tweak "linearity" to around +0.25, and that should help to nullify the dead zone.
