As a HubSpot Partner, we like to think that Six & Flow has grown-up alongside the HubSpot CMS, building bigger and better sites as the platform has expanded and improved. It began life as a simple blogging platform designed to support the inbound marketing model, before evolving into the HubSpot COS, which was short for Content Optimisation System, where they introduced more landing page and website page functionality to help bring your content to life. Thankfully, it wasn’t long before HubSpot changed that awfully confusing name and the HubSpot CMS was born, finally accepted and loved by HubSpot as the tool it had become, an advanced Content Management System with a shedload of functionality intended to make the lives of marketers and developers alike, easier. Now, with the introduction of the CMS Hub, it can truly be considered an Enterprise level platform as more advanced features such as HubDB and serverless functions have been added on top of the already great suite of features that integrate with your CRM like personalised smart content and integrated meeting links. But, the great thing about it is that if your business is still scaling and not quite ready to take advantage of all of the fancy features, you can still reap the benefits of all of the security, speed and compliance capabilities of an enterprise CMS without spending enterprise money. We’ll go into more detail on what falls into each package in another video, but the point is that HubSpot has remembered it’s humble roots and developed a system that can scale with your business, whilst also taking a bunch of technical stress off your hands.
