Michael Shilman is a philosopher and an educator of V.N. Karazin Kharkov National University. In this sage talk he reflects on the radical openness and criticize lie of the land formed under the impact of some radical openness trends. For instance, "shares" and "likes" without being just aware of the subject. As one of the results of that - the activity of most of the people in social media can be described like a continuous interview about everything to nowhere. Michael suggests to shift the style of the behaviour from the compulsory openness to the open obligation. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
