Upgrading TANKER with MANURE SENSING | Animals on Haut-Beyleron | Farming Simulator 22 | Episode 66

Today we are in Haut-Beyleron and we have to upgrade our slurry tanker. We started by jumping into Volkswagen Amarok and going to the local BGA. They had Samson Agro TD 12 for sale in good condition for a good price. When we arrived there, we spoke with the manager and then inspected the Samson Agro TD 12. After that was done we agreed on the price of 6.000 euros. Then we jumped into Volkswagen Amarok and headed back to the farm. We washed the Volkswagen Amarok and then refueled it and then parked it in the garage. When that was done we jumped into Fendt 934 Vario and we refueled it and then we attached Samson PG II 20. Then we detached Samson SD 700 next to our BGA and then we headed to pick up the new Samson Agro TD 12. After we arrived at the local BGA we backed up the slurry tanker and then we attached the new Samson Agro TD 12 on the back. When that was done we returned back to the farm and it was time to upgrade our slurry tanker. We started by doing some maintenance work on the slurry tanker and a new slurry distributor. Then we changed the license plate for our custom ones on both of them and then we installed manure sensing on top of the slurry tanker. It cost us around 11.000 euros to install manure sensing on the slurry tanker. Manure sensing detects the nitrogen in the slurry and it guarantees the application of the same nitrogen amount all over the field. After we finished with everything it was time to test the slurry tanker with upgrades. So we filled the slurry from the cow shed and then headed to the first field. When we arrived, we unfolded the slurry distributor and then we set up the GPS for ups and downs. After we got the whole field done we did a headland pass and then we moved to the next field. We ended up doing all three fields and it took us three and a half loads of slurry. Then we washed the tractor and slurry tanker and parked them. Because the fields were a little bit wet we destroy some parts of the fields, so we decided to roll all three fields to make them look nice. For that job, we decided to use Fendt 720 Vario and roller. We didn't have a roller so we headed to the local dealer where we leased Guttler Major 820. We attached it to the tractor and headed to the first field, then we unfolded the roller and set up the GPS. After that was done we started rolling the field up and down until we got the whole field done. When all three fields were done, we washed everything and then returned the roller back to the dealer.
