This year we are going to Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico and New York. For now we are staying in Baños. Colombia, officially the Republic of Colombia, is a country in South America with an insular region in North America. It is bordered by the Caribbean Sea to the north, Venezuela to the east, Brazil to the southeast, Ecuador and Peru to the south, the Pacific Ocean to the west and Panama to the northwest. Medellín is the capital of Colombia’s mountainous Antioquia province. Nicknamed the “City of Eternal Spring” for its temperate weather, it hosts a famous annual Flower Festival. Modern metrocables link the city to surrounding barrios and offer views of the Aburrá Valley below. Sculptures by Fernando Botero decorate downtown's Botero Plaza, while the Museo de Antioquia displays more of the Colombian artist’s work. That's Medellín in Colombia, with 90 percent of respondents saying their city has incredible nightlife. The South American city has it all: we're talking loud bars, energetic clubs and secret salsa places. It's pretty cheap, too, meaning you can have a really, really fun night out without breaking the bank. Parque Lleras is the heart of El Poblado Medellin nightlife. This area is teeming with bars and clubs and it's packed with locals and tourists every single weekend. If you head up the hill a little you'll find Provenza: an equally popular but slightly classier area of El Poblado.
