This is the tenth mission of The Sixth Seal campaign for the Freespace Port. It is 2334, late in the Terran-Vasudan War, and we portray a pilot recently inducted into the Special Operations branch of Galactic Terran Intelligence flying off the GTCa Adrastea. With R&D's betrayal and the destruction of the Aurora, we are forced to throw in our lot with Dr. Hargrove and the Vasudans. With the Elders' (commonly known as the Ancients in Freespace lore) subspace map showing the route the Destroyers (Shivans) take in their cyclical purges of this area of the galaxy, we are striking against an R&D research flotilla researching a subspace anomaly at the site where the map says the unstable jump node to Gamma Valorum lies. We must destroy the R&D vessels and secure the area so that the GTSC Curiosity can scan the anomaly and verify its nature.
