With Chozen called to help Daniel to bring down Cobra Kai which is now spreading throughout the valley…I can only imagine how insane things are about to become for cobra kai season 5. Daniel won’t have Johnny around anymore so he’ll need to bring in the big guns, someone who understands Okinawa karate better than he does, and that’s chozen. While Daniel has been working on his Karate since Karate Kid 3 until now, Chozen has been in the very heart of it all, where Miyagi and Sato’s teachings were all available to him to perfect and learn. Chozen lost against Daniel, and this caused him to turn a new leaf eventually, it also probably made him train extremely hard, like Vegeta did after always being second best to Kakarot. Chozen can teach Daniel things that he could never learn on his own. And the possibilities of Chozen and Barnes fighting…or dare I say…Silver and Chozen fighting…the thought alone is epic, much like the quick fight we saw with Johnny against Silver. Chozen and Daniel could team up to create their own secret underground dojo of students, who will go into the next all valley and defeat cobra kai all around. Let’s say they do this, let’s say they beat Cobra Kai, I think even with the win, Cobra Kai will still be super successful. At this point, Silver will have opened up so many dojos that would have been running for a year, it would be like Starbucks having a competitor, it wouldn’t really hurt them in the end, they’re not leaving. That’s what I think the problem is, no matter who joins Daniel, Silver will turn Cobra Kai into something globally known as THE go to Karate school. So I think for Daniel and Chozen to do anything effective, maybe the answer this time isn’t to win the all valley again, which honestly would just be a little boring. I think things need to get more serious now, and we need to shift focus on the original characters fighting each other and perhaps getting the law involved. If Tory can go to Daniel and expose Silver for bribing the ref, then that would make Cobra Kai look absolutely horrible and ruin all reputation they’ve built. That’s the way to go here. The only issue with that….is that Silver has all his tracks covered. It’s going to be impossible to catch him. How would they prove that he bribed the ref? They can’t, unless they check his bank statements as Silver said the money would be sent to him, unless he meant cash, then I don’t really know how they’d prove it. Now, there’s no written contract that states Daniel can’t teach Karate. Only their word. So really what’s the worst that could happen? Silver gets Mike Barnes to leave a message like old times? Let’s say he does, and the dojo is ruined. Chozen is now in the picture, and I don’t think Barnes could beat Chozen at this age. Most likely we’d get a fight between silver and Chozen, and barnes and Daniel like old times which I can’t wait to see and I’ll be covering a versus battle on as well.
