Watch until the end of this video and you will learn the no-brainer way to add humor into your conversations. Humor is an excellent tool to make a conversation going. Whether you are at a coffee shop talking to the woman your dreams, or in an office setting with that cute girl, humor can be used to liven up any boring conversation. A study conducted at Stanford University suggests the female brain is biologically better prepared to respond to humor positively. This is why they say that women like funny guys. And perhaps this is the reason why some unattractive guys win the most beautiful women. The bad news is, humor is considered as an advanced topic you in communication. Some people are just born with a funny bone and some are just not. The good news is, of course, there is a way to hack it. There's an easy way to make a person laugh. The set-up is the information the listener needs to find the joke funny. it leads the listeners down a path to an unexpected destination. The keyword here is unexpected. Make sure that the set-up doesn't give away any humor at all. In my example, the set-up was in order to be a successful man, you have to have perseverance, patience, and Step 2: The Pause. The pause occurs just before you deliver the punch line to the joke. By pausing, you create tension and to make the other person want to hear what's next. In my example, the pause happened after the word and. Step 3: The Punch Line. The punch line is the sentence that creates The humor. It is the unexpected destination at the end of the path. It's what makes people laugh. In my example, the punch line was a rich girlfriend. That's it, the three steps on how to make any person laugh. It's the basis of all jokes and funny plots in comedy movies and sitcoms. As an exercise, next time you watch a funny show, make sure to spot these three steps. In doing so, you'll become more aware of the jokes, and the more you become aware, the more you can improvise on your own.
