After this, Matt and Abby did not learn anything about avoiding cancel culture and they never changed their ways. Matt and Abby only posted more click bait, rage bait, and comment bait videos from then on. Other huge matt and abby controversies were the matt and abby traditional household situation, the matt and abby c section controversy, and the matt and abby fathers day birthday situation. Matt also said he wasn’t always attracted to Abby, they both said they were sleep divorced, they click baited about cheating and getting divorced, and they said divorce wasn’t an option knowing the internet thought Abby was in a toxic marriage. In September, Abby posted a controversial instagram story about their baby monitor setup for their 1 and 2 year old sons on their cruise ship vacation which came with a flood of backlash. After this, Matt and Abby uploaded their cruise ship apology video. Matt is mainly hated for talking about Abby's c section breastfeeding decisions and for his song “I thought i’d be happier” which made everyone think he was saying abby and his sons didn’t make him happy.
