Chinese Herbs: Preparing Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine Tea Drink | TCM Herbalist Remedy

In this video I prepared Traditional Chinese Herbs to make a Chinese herbal medicine tea drink. It kinda looks like a soup when you cook it but after straining, it's more of a medical drink. I made the medicinal mix according to the instructions of my TCM herbalist doctor. I think the instructions may differ depending on which herbs you use, and what your specific condition is, so if you're not a well-trained expert, I think it's always safest to ask a professional before making up herbal decoction remedies, and get a proper prescription of what herbs to use from a good herbal doctor. For me, the directions were: - Add the herbal supplement mix to 3 pints of cold water. - Leave soaking in a cold water soak for 1 hour. - Bring to a boil, then simmer, cooking it for 60-90 minutes until water has evaporated and the liquid part is reduced to 1/2 a pint. - Strain and store in refrigerator until needed. - Warm gently before drinking. I don't know the names of the Chinese herbs and spices used in this video (it's just what was given to me by my herbal dr practitioner) but if you recognise any from the pictures in the video, let me know in the comments! It was for Liver Qi Stagnation, Yin deficiency, digestive health, digestion issues of GERD, regurgitation & acid reflux.
