In this video I do a complete comparison on server cases vs open air frames for GPU mining rigs. I do this by comparing the Octominer X12 Ultra mining server case with my home built open air mining rig frame. I compare the Octominer 12 GPU server case and the open air mining frame in terms of hashrate, power consumption, ease of use, temperatures and price. I want to find out what the best mining rig in 2022 is! Is it a servercase like the Octominer, or is an open air frame still the better option for mining rigs in 2022? In this video I put the same GPUs in both my open air frame and then move them all to the Octominer X12 Ultra mining server case, and I compare the results. I then also finish the video with a breakdown of the actual cost of building an open air mining frame vs the cost of one Octominer.
