The favorite Hajj of the Prophet, peace be upon him. Part 8 ، Lesson 2 The Importance and Virtues of Hajj in Islam | With ustadha Adiba Afzal Certainly Hajj, a trip to Mecca, is super important in Islam. It's one of the Five Pillars, which means every Muslim who can afford it should do it once in their life. Hajj brings Muslims from all over together, showing how they're all united under Allah, no matter where they're from. During Hajj, people do special rituals that help them feel closer to Allah and ask for forgiveness. Hajj is also about being humble and treating everyone the same. Everyone wears simple white clothes to show they're all equal in Allah's eyes. The rituals, like circling the Kaaba, remind people that life goes in circles and everyone must follow Allah's plan. Hajj changes people, making them more thankful and closer to Allah. Overall, Hajj is a big deal in Islam. It brings people together, makes them humble, and helps them get closer to Allah. It's a special journey that leaves a lasting impact on everyone who does it. The obligatory acts of Hajj are: 1. Ihram: Intentionally entering the state of consecration before performing Hajj rituals. 2. Tawaf: Circling the Kaaba seven times. 3. Sa'i: Walking seven times between the hills of Safa and Marwah. 4. Wuquf: Standing at the plain of Arafat during the Hajj pilgrimage. 5. Mina: Spending the night in Mina during the days of Hajj. 6. Stoning the Devil: Throwing pebbles at three pillars in Mina. 7. Sacrifice: Offering an animal sacrifice in commemoration of Prophet Ibrahim's willingness to sacrifice his son Isma'il. 8. Halq or Taqsir: Shaving the head or cutting a small portion of hair after the completion of Hajj rituals.
