All objects in the project were created by the author և no pre-made assets were used. To obtain information for restoration, pictures of preserved ruins and drawings were used, as well as sources of written information from historians, excavations of the now deserted city, in particular, the excavations of Nikolai Marr. Several restorations of the interiors of the churches and the citadel were made based on the analysis of written materials by historians, for example, the decoration, paintings, animal sculptures, the sky drawing on the dome of the St. Gregory church, etc.
