Just to give you some ideas, the e30, e36, e46, and e90 all have relatively reliable engines. Those are the M20, M50, M52, M54, n52, n53, n54, and n55 in the 320, 323, 325, 328, 330, and 335i. There are of course other models that give us a high level of reliability, but those are great examples.
