Truth be told, I wasn’t doing so great way before this pandemic hit...and now I’m feeling a whole new handful of emotions on top of the ones I was already dealing with. Life is hard...but it’s supposed to challenge us. That’s how we find our true strength and learn and evolve. Nonetheless, sometimes the challenges we’re faced with leave us feeling overwhelmed, stressed, anxious, and depressed. And it’s during those times that we need to try to help ourselves as best as possible...for me, I accomplish that through movement and by reciting positive affirmations that lift me up and make me feel good about myself.
