Nulla di strano se non fosse che Alessandro Michele, che è stato eletto nuovo direttore creativo di Valentino proprio al posto di Piccioli, sia stato a lungo direttore creativo di Gucci, ora capitanato da Sabato De Sarno, a sua volta ex braccio destro di Piccioli da Valentino. Piccioli ha proseguito la sua passeggiata con le buste color rosso “Ancora” di Gucci passando anche davanti lo store di Valentino. Insomma, una danza senza fine quella tra i due brand del gruppo Kering, con due direttori creativi, Piccioli e Michele, così lontani eppure così vicini, e lo sfondo di una città di Roma che sembra lo scenario perfetto per questa pièce del fashion system.
