“世界上的很多冲突，部分原因是大家对历史的偏见。 当大家都在争着找出最早，最老，最大，最好，最新，最美，最有用，最有意义的人事物时，有些小东西就这样不见了，连记载都来不及。” 大马著名插画家——冼佩珊的作品中，虽然有时是插画，有时是纸艺，有时是袖珍艺术，有时是漫画，有時是动画，有时是装置艺术；看似不同的艺术媒介，可是都是在做着记录历史这件事。她期待自己的作品能以趣味的方式将隐藏在建筑或社区背后的故事说出来。 Shin Pui San (NOvia), a Malaysian with the backgound of Multimedia and Graphic Design, won the Champion of Nando’s Peri-fy Art Competition 2012. The following year seen her organizing her solo exhibition "Not So Long Ago" as a 25-year-old young artist, fully sponsored by Nando's. She has also been awarded the Grand prize of the Young Contemporaries 2016 Art Competition in 2017 organized by the National Visual Arts Gallery (Malaysia). She is passionate about experiencing local culture and cultural activities. She also cofounded Kaki Jelajah Warisan, which is a humanities and heritage tour organization, helping to illustrate cultural map. She has been working with various types of medium ranging from illustration, paper art, miniature art, comic, animation and also installation art. Although these media are each different from each other, they are all viable medium in documenting history.
