This video is a great guide to installing ML on your camera in 6 Simple Steps: (for Canon 550d, 600d, 500d and 60d) 1) Fully charge your battery and remove any accessories from your camera (such as battery grip or external flash) 2) Upgrade your Canon Firmware to the appropriate version for your camera Magic Lantern v2.3 works only with the following camera firmware versions: ∙ Canon 500D / T1i / Kiss X3: firmware 1.1.1 ∙ Canon 550D / T2i / Kiss X4: firmware 1.0.9 ∙ Canon 600D / T3i / Kiss X5: firmware 1.0.2 ∙ Canon 50D: firmware 1.0.9. ∙ Canon 60D: firmware 1.1.1. ∙ Canon 5D Mark II: firmware 2.1.2 3) Rotate your mode dial to Manual (M) position and restore your camera to default settings 4) Format your SD card 5) Copy the Magic Lantern files to the root directory of you SD card then launch the firmware update process on your camera 6) Once you see the success screen turn off your camera, then restart and enjoy your new camera Magic Lantern only writes to the RAM and does not modify anything on the camera and runs in conjunction with your normal Canon menu. *There seems to be some limitations with the manual audio level control and monitoring with headphones on the 600d see the following link for more details: http://magiclantern.wikia.com/wiki/Us...
