Hi everyone! Welcome to my channel. In this video I am demonstrating the difference in results you get from using titanium dioxide in soap. Titanium dioxide is used to provide a white pigment and comes in powder form. Titanium dioxide is used in various items such as: food, cosmetics, paper, etc. Many soapers use it in soap to make the bar a much whiter soap or to lighten other colors depending on the soap design. Titanium dioxide (TD) comes as either oil or water soluble. The one that I use is food grade and it is water soluble, therefore, I put a small amount of warm/hot water to dissolve the ingredient. The ration I use is 1 part TD to 1/2 part water to disperse the TD. Always read your ingredient instructions. For a whiter soap bar make sure your fragrance oil/essential oils do not discolor or include vanillin. Be Safe and Happy Soap Making!! Thank you for watching. I share this video to show my journey, personal methods, and techniques for making cold process and hot process soaps. These videos are not intended as tutorials for beginners. Please note that handmade soap contains sodium hydroxide known as lye which is highly caustic and can cause damage or burns to skin when raw. It is extremely dangerous and safety precautions must be taken! It is important to use safety gear when handling lye and raw soap. If you attempt to try any of the methods or techniques used in any of my soap videos I and my company (aguanica) are not liable or responsible for your results. *** SAFTEY INFO*** This is not a tutorial video. Please if you are making soap at home make sure to remember to always wear safety glasses/face shield, long sleeves, long pants, closed toe shoes and gloves to protect your skin, face, and eyes when making soap. If you would like more information on lye safety message me. MUSIC CREDITS: Music from Uppbeat (free for Creators!): https://uppbeat.io/t/simon-folwar/big...
