Rheinmetall’s new Heavy Recovery Vehicle (HRV) is designed to fulfil the toughest customer requirements. Based on an HX 8x8 pure military truck, the HRV offers top-notch capabilities combined with maximum safety for the crew. For over ten years, Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles GmbH (RMMV) has been continuously designing and improving recovery vehicles for leading armies worldwide. 2024 literally became the Year of the Recovery Truck for RMMV with the system being officially introduced at Eurosatory, followed by the great success of the Recovery Days 2024 in Austria, successful trials in Canada that led to 85 units sold, and several demonstrations in the US.
