This SV650 is a first generation model, and that is important to know because I needed a '96-99 GSXR750 SRAD triples for this project. They are nearly a direct bolt-on to the SV frame head, the ignition switch will bolt in, the steering lock and steering stops will also work. However, you will need a custom top bearing from http://TWFracing.com becasue the steering stem on the '96-99 GSXR750 triples is bigger at the top than the original .99-'02 SV650 steering stem. Don't bother looking for that bearing elsewhere, its a custom 47x30x15mm bearing that is custom manufactured by them especially for this application. The forks are from a '03 GSXR1000, but any fork legs with a 50mm top and 54mm bottom will bolt directly into the the '96-99 GSXR750 triples. When using these '96-99 GSXR750 triples, you will also need the matching axle and wheel as the width of these triples is a little wider than the norm. A TL1000S or TL100R or Hayabusa wheel will also fit. The new 96-99 GSXR750 axle is bigger than the SV650 part, so the speedometer drive won't fit unless you either mount it on the rear axle (to be covered in a future video) or if you install a hall-effects sensor with magnets on the front wheel. if you've done this work call me you'll know that the speedometer Drive won't fit, so I did a video for that as well here...
