Tahoe Trail Guide Update (March 21, 2023)

Nothing deep or profound, just a brief update. Basically, I plan to continue cross country skiing for as long as I can, which will be at least until June. But I'm pacing myself at this point since we have so much snow. I haven't actually been working at the cross country ski center for weeks. Mainly because the storms have been so intense (avoiding driving and slow business), and now that it's technically spring the resort is slowing down its operation anyway. It's inevitable that I get laid off every spring, but it definitely feels early considering how much snow Tahoe has right now. But because I haven't been working at the resort, I've been focusing on getting some art projects started and finished (in anticipation of my summer job). So, it seems like I'd have more time to make xc ski videos, but I'm actually investing that time in some other projects. And that's partly because many people have already called it a season and have hung up their skis. This year is not a Big Year in Tahoe, so I won't be spending every waking minute looking for birds or wildflowers, which means I'm going to start building more summer content here on YouTube. Lots of hiking stuff is what I expect. Anyway, I don't really mention any of that in this video (now that I think of it!) so I hope you read the descriptions :) •   / jaredmanninen   (monthly contributions of $3, $6, $9, $39, or $99) • https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/Jared...
